Sylvia Arenas's Portfolio

Hi, my name is Sylvia Arenas. Education has always been a goal and dream in my life. I believe that a person is never too old to learn. I will be graduating in December 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. My concentration areas are Business Administration and Sociology.

In this portfolio, you will find a more detailed description of what the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) Program has to offer to its students, and a little more about my areas of concentration and the skills that I have learned through this program.

Mission Statement

My purpose and goal in life is to maintain my integrity, rights, and self-respect while being honest and respectful of others. I want to put new wrinkles in my brain by learning to be more effective in contract negotiation, joining a professional organization, and in learning to communicate more effectively. I desire to bring joy into the lives that cross my path each and every day through laughter, understanding, compassion, and love. I want to show my commitment to family, friends, and coworkers by supporting their endeavors and dreams.
